Milton G. Olekson, Partner, President & CEO
Recognized for his "roll-up your sleeves" approach to working with staff and clients, Milton's ("Milt") strong, wide-ranging management skills and his first-hand experience in nearly all aspects of AMi's services provides clients with expert assistance in strategy, campaign plan development, tactical implementation, and sales and donor development.
For more than 16 years, Milt has played an integral part in helping AMi optimize its staff and operations, providing vigorous and progressive leadership. He began his career at AMi in 1995 as Manager of Customer Service. He was promoted to Mailing Operations Manager in July 1996, Vice President of Production in May of 1997, Vice President of Sales and Marketing in January 2002, and Senior Vice President in June 2008.
In January 2011, when long-time AMi President Ken Gossett retired, Milt and AMi veterans Kerry Wash and Linh Vo didn't hesitate to take on running the company. As AMi's new President and CEO, Milt continues to instill his robust "award winning" methods toward employee development and education throughout AMi, and he continues to infuse his client relationships with personal attention and a sincere desire to see others succeed.
Milton's more than 32 years of business experience--including 22 years in the direct marketing services industry--includes executive leadership roles in sales and marketing, accounting and finance, data processing, personnel development, production, and inventory control.
Kerry M. Wash, Partner, Chief Operations Officer
Kerry saves clients money while delivering high-quality products and services. An experienced, proven, systems thinker, he has demonstrated success in process improvement and cost cutting initiatives. Instrumental in developing, implementing, and insuring rigid quality control programs, he is known for doing "what it takes" to get the job done right, and this approach helps leverage team members' contributions.
Backed by more than 22 years experience in the direct mail and fulfillment industry, Kerry knows and understands all aspects of production at AMi, including premium fulfillment services, conference and meeting package fulfillment, digital and litho print production, mailings, personalized URL programs, and logistic services. He continues to use his instincts to mentor AMi staff to help develop their skill set and use their talents to provide comprehensive solutions to AMi clients.
Kerry joined AMi in 1995 as Supervisor of the Imaging Department, was promoted to Production Supervisor in July 1996, attained the position of Mailing Operations Manager in May 1997, and served as Vice President of Operations from June 2008 until January 2011. Since then, he has joined forces with Milton and Linh, taking on the roles of Partner and Chief Operations Officer of AMi.
Linh T. Vo, Partner, Vice President of Production
Technically knowledgeable in many of the production processes and experienced in all aspects of operation, Linh provides senior management and essential guidance to managers, supervisors, and team leaders. Her activities insure that client expectations are not only met, but they're also exceeded.
Linh joined AMi in May 1997 and has acquired, over the years, management experience in all project-related functions, including implementation and support for all print, mail, and fulfillment production activities; accounting; cost and quality control functions; and sales and client support procedures.
In January 2011, Linh transitioned from Senior Production Supervisor to Partner and Vice President of Production. As a member of the executive management team, Linh initiates or takes part in all strategic decisions regarding corporate direction. She currently oversees the daily operations of the digital printing, mailing, and fulfillment capabilities, including the direction of employees responsible for all such operations and equipment.
Kenneth C. Gossett, Consultant, Past President
While others trimmed costs during difficult economic times by erroneously swapping direct mail for email--and subsequently paying the price with a reduction in response up to 25%--Ken understood that traditional direct mail was still key to winning new donors and customers for his clients. He charged his staff to meet with AMi's clients, understand their initiatives, and develop integrated marketing programs that included this valued medium. As a result, AMi created customized programs using direct mail, color variable printing, email, and personalized URL programs that AMi's clients use successfully today.
In January 2011, Ken made the difficult decision to leave the business and industry he loves and pursue the life of retirement. Highly recognized in the industry for his postal expertise, Ken leaves with more than 35 years experience in the direct mail and fulfillment business. Prior to becoming AMi's President in 1989, he served as Controller of PSA, Inc., Vice President of Saturn Corporation, and Director of Operations for Nationwide Fulfillment Systems, Inc.
Ken continues to serve AMi as a consultant, and he continues to sit on the Board of Directors and Executive Committee of the Mailing and Fulfillment Services Association (MFSA) and on the Legislative Steering Committee as an advocate in Congress for the postal service.
Erin Landry, Manager of Information Systems, Fulfillment Projects Manager
An expert in list analytics, hygiene, and management, Erin is key in developing customized fulfillment programs for AMi's clients. Her programs are not only effortless for clients to use, but they also provide clients a means to better access necessary information and to better manage their initiatives.
Erin has more than 20 years of experience in direct marketing, including work in project management, design, list maintenance, print production, fulfillment, lettershop and data processing, programming, and information and network systems. She joined AMi in March of 1999, and her current responsibilities include directing data processing staff, managing information systems, maintaining AMi's operating network and communications systems, and directing fulfillment client serviceand operations.
Maryann Gregory, Account Manager
Affectionately nicknamed "the great expeditor," Maryann manages the details of her clients' programs and attends daily project scheduling meetings, where she reports to and works with production personnel on behalf of AMi's clients.
Originally hired by AMi in 1991 as a seasonal employee, she quickly moved to the Fulfillment Department, where she was hired as a full-time employee and was later promoted to Supervisor in 1995. Maryann managed the inventory, daily orders, shipping inquiries, packing material supplies, and postage meter usage for 10 fulfillment clients until 1997, when she joined AMi's Customer Service Team, where her experience and management skills could better serve AMi's clients.
Turner Scott, Customer Service Specialist
Turner joined AMi in 2006 as a Customer Service Associate and is AMi's rising star. Initially tasked to work behind the scenes to insure that client expectations were met, Turner provided support to the client service team, working directly with Account Managers, other Customer Service Associates, and key management personnel. His desire to serve the customer shone through, and in January 2009, he was promoted to Customer Service Specialist.
Known by clients for his pleasant demeanor attention to detail, and follow-up, he manages accounts and projects while still working closely with senior Customer Service personnel and management.
